This week long activities on the water will be loved by kids!
At our summer camps, we prioritise FUN while incorporating educational elements along the way.
Our main goals for each Kayak Camper are as follows: Acquire new skills, Enhance self-confidence, Gain knowledge about self-rescue techniques in water, Establish new friendships
Learn how to assist a friend in getting back into their kayak. Familiarise themselves with safety equipment and its proper usage and adjustment, preparing for owning their own equipment one day. Develop a deep respect for the water and the diverse flora and fauna it supports. Understand and practice the principles of Leave No Trace. No prior experience required

Choose from one of 10 Weeks available, from June 23rd to 29th August. Each week, the summer camp will take place from Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 12.30pm or 1.30pm to 4.30pm. All equipment is supplied, excluding wetsuits.
Each training camp will see only 6 places available.
Course is open to Children aged 7 -17.
Cost to register for 1 Week per child is €80 for NorthWest Canoe Club members. Membership cost for new paddlers is €15 for 2025. Details on how to pay membership will be sent via email in advance of the summer camp.
